Company History

The original roofing business was an integral part of Grainger Bros and can traces its roots in construction all the way back to 1865.

The present company was incorporated as Grainger Building Services Limited in July 1974, when Grainger Bros separated the specialist roofing activities from its other activities.

In 1989, Grainger Building Services was purchased from Grainger Bros through a management buyout.

In 1994 the Glasgow office was opened to service the market in Scotland and the North of England.
